Darren Lewis is a fully accredited NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and is listed on the United Kingdom General Medical Council specialist register for plastic surgery.

He has over a decade of experience as an NHS consultant and is widely practiced in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures, especially reconstructive plastic surgery, adult and paediatric burn care, skin cancer surgery, body contouring after massive weight loss, breast surgery and facial surgery.

In keeping with a tradition dating back hundreds of years, all surgeons in the United Kingdom and Ireland who are fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons are addressed as "Mr" rather than "Dr".

Mr Lewis is a full member of The British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS), and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). He is the former chairman of the British Burn Association (BBA).
