Surgery Consultation Fees
An initial consultation fee of £150 will be charged for all uninsured patients. This is payable at the time of consultation. Any further pre-operative consultations are included in this initial consultation fee.
Follow-up and post-operative consultations are included within your treatment cost and are not charged separately. There is no set limit on the number of post-operative consultations.
Treatment and Procedure Costs
The fees quoted on this website are intended as a guide price. The costs can vary depending on procedure details, anaesthesia required and the hospital location.
A written no-obligation quotation is provided after consultation. This is an all inclusive quote and covers the surgical fees, anaesthetist fees and hospital fees including all aftercare, dressings and post-operative review appointments. Any immediate complications such as post-operative bleeding are covered within the package quotation. Full terms and conditions will be included in the quotation information.
Mr Lewis does not provide or recommend and finance products. Nuffield Health are able to provide finance packages for procedure and surgeries carried out at Nuffield hospitals.
Insured Patients
Mr Lewis is recognised and approved by all major UK healthcare insurers including Aviva, BUPA, AXA Health, and Vitality. He is also an approved specialist for the Police Health Scheme in partnership with Nuffield Health. As private healthcare insurance policies vary considerably, please clarify your level of cover with your insurance company prior to any consultation or treatment.
On occasions, private healthcare insurance will not cover the full costs of a procedure or treatment. In the case of an insurance policy exemption or policy excess, the responsibility for the shortfall will rest with the patient or their representative.
Overseas Patients
Mr Lewis is able to provide face-to-face consultations and minor procedures on overseas patients. He does not routinely offer surgical procedures for overseas patients.
